REPRESENTATIVE TREY HOLLINGSWORTH'S STATEMENT ON PRESIDENT TRUMP'S DECISION TO REPEAL THE WATERS OF THE UNITED STATES RULE
Washington, D.C. — Representative Trey Hollingsworth released the following statement regarding President Donald J. Trump's decision to repeal the Environmental Protection Agency's Waters of the United States rule.
"The ill-conceived Waters of the United States rule was a crushing, overreaching regulation that would have prevented Hoosier farmers from providing for their families and created uncertainty for economic development throughout rural America. I have consistently heard from 9th District farmers that this onerous regulation would have brought about nothing but obstruction for middle-class farm families. Thanks to President Trump's decision, Hoosier farmers and the American people scored a major victory over Washington, D.C. bureaucrats."
