I wanted to give you a heads up that the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is this Saturday, April 28. From 10AM - 2PM, you can properly dispose of expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs to support ongoing efforts to combat the opioid epidemic that is facing our communities.
The opioid epidemic is taking the lives of far too many of our loved ones and neighbors in Indiana. Fighting this epidemic starts at a local level and it's up to us to raise awareness and cut the supply of prescription drugs that too often act as a gateway to drug abuse.
