GREENWOOD, IN – This week, Representative Trey Hollingsworth (IN-09) sat down with various manufacturing employees and job creators in Johnson County as part of his ongoing district jobs tours and listening sessions.

Included in these visits were IBC Advanced Alloys, Innovative 3D Manufacturing, Endress+Hauser, Advantage Engineering, and Precisions Products. Representative Hollingsworth toured the facilities, met with staff and leadership, and spent time listening to manufacturers’ thoughts on the impacts of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and increasing participation in career and technical education to fill high-skilled manufacturing jobs.

“Our Hoosier manufacturers, the products they create, and the jobs they provide are a central part of the economy,” said Representative Trey Hollingsworth. “I greatly valued the opportunity to listen to differing viewpoints from local manufacturers on what our communities can do to better equip more Americans – especially young Hoosiers - with the skills they need to compete for well-paying, in-demand manufacturing jobs which are critical to the nation’s economy.”
